Yes on Prop 2 Campaign Launches Digital Advertising Campaign

SACRAMENTO - Today, the Yes on Prop 2 campaign launched its statewide paid media campaign, with an ad that will run across digital platforms. The ad, called “First Day,” highlights the critical components of the measure that will provide resources to upgrade public schools across the state.

“Prop 2 will make the most urgent repairs and upgrades in our local public schools by authorizing a $10 billion investment – without raising any taxes or fees – to make sure our students are safe and ready to learn,” said Jeff Good , Executive Director, California Teachers Association. “Prop 2 will provide funding for essential updates to schools – to fix leaking roofs, malfunctioning bathrooms, and to remove or replace asbestos, mold, lead paint and lead pipes. We are excited about today’s launch so that California voters hear about the real needs in public schools”

Prop 2 is supported by more than 200 organizations including teachers, school districts, leading education advocates, social justice organizations and more.

The digital advertising campaign is part of a comprehensive plan to ensure voters learn about the importance of Proposition 2.

“Voters who know about Prop 2 already support the measure, and this ad will help expand awareness and support,” added Good.
